Loews Regency Park Ave.

When we travel to NYC, it’s important of us to stay in a location that feels like home, and is conveniently situated.  Over the course of New York Fashion Week Mens, Ash and I checked into the Loews Regency Hotel off Park Ave., for the second time.  The staff was expecting our arrival, and settled us in quickly and comfortably.  The marble laced bathrooms and desks are my favorite and so aesthetically pleasing.  We got to work right away planning our busy week, and nibbled on the most delicious butter cookies from St. Ambroeus downstairs.

The Loews operated as our “home” that week by providing ample room for a live/work space situation.  We were running in and out of the hotel for outfit changes, a quick bite, and to finish up emails and blog posts.  IN the evening, we would open the shades and watch the city over a glass of wine.  New York is so vibrant and always on the move; The city functions seamlessly and is always hustling.

One morning we discovered that Loews partnered with a few interior designers to customize suites on the property.  On that list was our favorite- Nate Berkus.  We quickly got in touch with the staff and they were lovely enough to take us on a tour.  We rode the elevator up to the penthouses and lo and behold, the Nate Berkus suite- what a site.  Everything was so tastefully placed, color coordinated, and textures matched to perfection.  When we thought our day couldn’t get better, the Loews team booked us an awesome spa treatment at the Julien Farel Salon.  Ashley had been chatting my ear off about the salon so I couldn’t wait to surprise her with the news!  We both got facials by expert aestheticians, and had thorough evaluations on the conditions of our skin and ways to promote the health of our skin.  Everyone was beyond kind and incredibly knowledgable in their field. Julien Farel actually recently opened a men’s spa are where guys can get a beard trim, haircut, and/or massage and facials when in town.  It has a more masculine approach than the salon upstairs but maintains all knowledge and integrity of the Julien Farel name.

We left feeling rejuvenated and rested after what seemed like a month-long jaunt in the Big Apple.  We wanted to extend many thanks to the Loews team for looking after us, and for the generous hospitality. We’re so glad to find a bit of home in the big city.
