The Lincoln Way
I spent the weekend in Montauk in partnership with Lincoln to discover the Lincoln Way- an approach to luxury through personally crafted client experiences. Among these, and one of my favorites, is the Chauffeur Service. We drove around town with Johnny, who took us to all the ‘hot-spots’ including dining, city overlooks, and the infamous Lighthouse. The Chauffeur Service provides you with a driver when needed, and can even assist with errands while you tend to your engagements.
What I love most about the Lincoln Way is the warm hospitality and human experience. When I was talking to the team about these dream experiences, I mentioned sailing in passing among other things to do. When I arrived to The Surf Lodge, we were set up with an unforgettable sailing lesson around the harbor, which was also such a bucket list moment. We spent several hours out on the water before heading back for some cocktails at the Surf Lodge. After relaxing with other hotel goers, we got ready for dinner at Crow’s Nest- a-MA-zing!
The following morning we woke up super early to line up with the locals at their favorite Montauk bakery: Montauk Bake Shoppe. NOM. To continue our Montauk classics over the weekend, we lunched at Duryea’s Lobster Deck, had some brews at the Montauk Brewing Co., ate lobster rolls at The Gig Shack, visited friends at Montauket, and finished the weekend with dinner at the Surf Lodge. In all, it was such an unforgettable first experience and all elevated by our Lincoln that made it possible to be all around town.
