Although not much Winter gear is needed in Los Angeles, the majority of my travels occur during this season and they always take me to that quintessential climate. I’m not used to the cold- at all– so my packing list always includes: thermals, thick scarves, touch screen gloves (obviously), overcoats, and tons of turtlenecks and sweaters.
On my last day in Aspen, I paired a fair isle Thom Browne sweater with a Moncler jacket- about 3 thermal layers underneath that, LOL. I kept the look sleek and chic by adding black cords and boots. I wanted a clean all black look that would juxtapose the winter whites of Aspen.
Ash and I wandered around the beautiful town, stopped for soup and pastrami sandwiches, and ended with a local donut stop. In every town I visit, I make it a point to try the local beer, and hunt down the local donut shop. It’s kind of become “my thing” and I thoroughly enjoying seeking out local flavor and culture.
Hope you’re all enjoying this beautiful New Year.
